Our team in Craiova attended also this year was the National Session of Student Scientific Communications competition, 12th edition, where the best students from

I – III years and master presented their projects. The jury including teachers and programming specialists have analyzed several web, desktop, and mobile applications developed by students using the latest technology.

This project is part of the Cred in Romania program, through which Star Storage supports young people in their professional development regardless of the field.

These are some of the most interesting projects presented:

• Quiz Ceti – web application for choice test management;
• Evolve – an Android app for downloading a restaurant / bar menu when you sit down at a table. It also allows placing the order without having to interact with a waiter, reducing the waiting time;
• Pocket stenography – iOS app allowing to encrypt a text message in a photo taken with the mobile phone. That image can be sent to another person who can decrypt the message with a key;
• PiVote – electronic voting machine developed with a Raspberry Pi computer;
• Shortcut manager – an app for managing shortcuts on a desktop PC.
