Supporting Romania’s young talents for the last 5 years
Star Storage is for the fifth year in a row an active supporter of the Young Talents Program developed by the Princess Margareta of Romania Foundation, but also of the Royal Charity Concert organized every year on October 25th.
Since the beginning, Star Storage has taken on the responsibility upon the community to contribute for the sustainable development of society, to help people in need, to support education, especially young people with exceptional qualities, and to build a better environment for future generations.
The Young Talents Program supports and promotes talented young artists (14 – 24 years old), who belong to poor families, but who study throughout the year within art and music schools or universities in the country.
“During the last 5 years, since we joined this initiative of Princess Margareta of Romania Foundation, we were amazed each time by the value of some children who succeed by grace and hard work to impress not only their mentors who lead them, as a result of the scholarship they receive, but especially a whole world based on the international prizes they bring back home.
We believe it is extremely important to be able to support a child’s performance, education, vocation when they can only be shaded by material aspects.
We want to help these young people to trust the talent they were born with, to develop it and to follow their dreams with the pride of being Romanians.” declared Liana Epure, Head of Corporate Marketing & Communication at Star Storage.
The Royal Charity Concert, organized annually on the 25th of October celebrating the anniversary of King Mihai I of Romania, is one of the most long-term and successful fundraising events aiming to support and promote Romanian culture and talent through the Young Talents Program.
The funds raised after the Charity Concert turn into individual scholarships for the teenagers selected in the Young Talents Program.
The scholarship helps them to acquire the necessary materials for their artistic activity, to pay the fees for participating in various national and international competitions or eventually the fees for attending specialized courses in the country or abroad.
